 | | Join PIHA at the Capital Clubhouse in Waldorf, MD. as the Mason Dixon and Southeast Divisions showcase their minor league talent. | Waldorf,
MD - The Capital Clubhouse,
home of PIHA’s Maryland Knights will be the host of the All-Star event for the minor league players of the Mason Dixon and Southeast division. Sunday, March 16, at 2pm the two divisions will be facing off with their star players selected this year by each teams respective coach. The coaches of each organization were instructed to select a forward and a defenseman to best represent their team as all-stars in an event that will be filled with action, excitement and a lot of fun for everyone. All-Star Goaltenders and coaching staff were selected by league officials and division committee.
Each division will be represented by two geographical teams giving the days matchups four teams and four total games. The Mason Dixon division will be divided East (Chantilly Mavericks, Waldorf Knights, Harrisburg Ragin Lunatics, Harrisburg Screamin Lunatics) and West (Harmarville Bandits, Mt. Pleasant Inferno, Stephens City Generals) and the Southeast Division will be divided North (York Typhoon, Midlothian Rolling Robins) and South (Apex Assault, Little River Pirates). The Mason Dixon division teams will play game one, and after the Southeast division will compete against each other in game two. Game three will be the two losing teams competing and finally for game four will be the two winning teams of each division.
A highlight this year will be that each game is two fifteen minute stop time periods. Even longer than a Pro PIHA game, and awards will be given to the events top MVP and MVG. Between the first two and last two games there will be a breakaway shootout competition held for all participants and it should be a great day of hockey! Good luck and Congratulations to all players and coaches selected!
